The story and art are beautiful (haven't finished the game yet, only just got past the 2nd "Critical" stage) but you kinda have to watch ads to get diamonds for the good options (which cost 100 diamonds), outfits (450), and tickets for night watch (I forget the price, but it's pretty expensive). I paid for the Ad pass, which makes the experience a lot better. Can get 90 diamonds a day by watching ads (30 ads, 3 diamonds each time) Can get 2 diamonds from completing episodes (1 free, 1 ad) etc.
I tried to play it but an ad popped up literally every time I tried to do anything. Open the game? AD. Click on the dms? AD. Try to go on patrol? AD. It was so incessant and obnoxious that I rage quit and instantly uninstalled. Get your ads under control, StoryTaco. I understand it's a free game with optional purchases but this is TOO MUCH.
Awesome visual novel with interesting characters, even those who aren't the love interests! The great thing is, is that the story doesn't rely too much on the "pay to play" aspect (comapred to other visual novels), but of course the game always opens up with those offers. They have to make money somehow! Great investment of time if you're looking for a sweet, and well designed visual novel!
I love this game, and the plot is very good. One problem is having to get rubies. I personally dont like to download multiple apps and take surveys just to make one choice, or buy a new outfit. Some of the surveys and apps wont give you the gems, even after you fineshed the taskes. Also, on the endings, i think that having to repeat the whole story over and over again just to change the ending is a bit irritating. Other than that, I love the plot, and the art is very good
