I'm quite a fan of Kitty Powers' and her games! I was introduced to the series with Matchmaker, and I enjoyed that endlessly! I recently decided to buy this version on my tablet, and I can't stop playing it! It's definitely different to matchmaker, with dealing with domestic issues and getting to know the two clients more in detail on their everyday lives! I love seeing Kitty Powers' assess how I did that week, and all the interesting situations and mechanics! Def worth it!!
I love this game but I have an issue, whenever I try to demolish businesses that bother my residents or they just don't use, it doesn't go away. I get the coins for it but the pop up that asks if I'm sure doesn't disappear when I click the checkmark and the only way to make it go away is by clicking cancel. The building disappears briefly but comes right back. So I'm using up space when I need it for other things... I'll give 5 stars once fixed.
I put off playing this because I usually don't like city builders, but I'm glad I tried this out. It builds upon the systems of the original game and builds upon them to make the game even more challenging, but still satisfying for casual play. I'm always impressed by how Magic Notion creates games that are great for both casual and experienced gamers. If you're interested in any sort of social sim gameplay, pick this game up!!
This game is really fun, it's a good follow up to Matchmaker and I've been enjoying it so far. There's just a few things I dislike. Earning coins is not easy, there's too much to buy and hardly any ways to earn, I'm always broke and can never achieve the "earn 250 coins" mission, ever. The aspirin game almost never works even if you do it on the clicks. The compromise game is bad, even on Easy the bar is so tiny and I have to spend coins to cheat every time and it occurs for everything.
