I played this game way longer than I should have. I like dragons. And this game has good visuals, as well as consistent rewards and checkpoints that make you feel like you're still progressing. I liked the game. But it's a pay to win. Progression is SOOO slow, and you can't catch up without spending hundreds of real dollars. I cant afford a $25 purchase for a single legendary dragon. If I want to pay that much for a game, I'll buy something bigger that I can own after paying for it.
It's a good idea but the execution is not good. 1. I like the idea of merging dragons, but I did not see any real engaging gameplay. The dragons just kind of sit there and shoot enemies. It's not like a real bullet hell where I needed to dodge shots or anything. 2. I would suggest making all the dragons follow a single dragon (like form a line) so you can dodge bullets better because right now, you can only move one dragon at a time, so there's no real point in dodging bullets.
After playing it since October 2020. I can say that having minimal ads is a plus. The animations are very good. I don't like the fact that it's feels very grindy and at times very repetitive. And I do find that there is certainly a lack of a story despite the interesting descriptions of the dragons. When you start the game there was a story that existed and suddenly went away. I do recommend the devs to add more story elements to the game.
This is an enjoyable game, but as usual the price of packages is EXCESSIVE. The first time you obtain any given legendary dragon it will offer to allow you to buy another copy for $25 (including some easy to obtain items), later it will randomly offer you more copies for $42 (including some easy to obtain items). You will need 48 copies of each legendary dragon so if you do the math they value these fully upgraded dragons around $2000 a piece and there 26 legendary dragons. The only redeeming feature is that the in-game currency, gems, are obtainable in game and there are actually some decent sales where you can obtain a chance at getting legendary dragons. Aside from that the game is more of an idle game (especially if you purchase auto play) which encourages you to leave it running for long periods of time to get the most out of everyday. The problem is it is a HUGE battery waster and was using around 13% of my battery per hour even in "hibernation mode".
