Fun game at first, but you can quickly lock yourself out of being able to make any reasonable progress. Once you complete a siege, you can only do the next difficulty, and if you happened to clear the siege without being prepared for the new level of difficulty, then you can only get ~20 gold at a time. Terrible design that forces you to pay for gold.
Overall fun game. Pretty grindy very quick, just to warn people. Also the game would be WAY better if the warriors didn't go way too far forward without the ranged and killed themselves (lost multiple runs due to this, so frustrating. They go to the far right side & range will reset to left, so I lose like 5 warriors for no reason) and the pathing for units is horrible. My melee get stuck behind ranged units. If those get fixed, this game will be so much more fun. But a very good baseline!
the ai for your army is bad. your troops are constantly trying to attack enemies that are off screen and can't. then when they do retreat, the hero runs forward and grinds his health down. and sometimes, newly summoned troops won't move forward until your older troops retreat. I wish there were attack and retreat buttons to fix these issues
Pacing is too slow without x2 speed. Really need to make the x2 the default. Also, having the annoying blinking red light for ads is always poor form because they'll never go away.
