I've been playing this game for a couple years now, and all I can say, is that it is a great, unique base builder experience. If you are tired of other base builder games, and want to try something new, you should definitely check this game out. With stylized graphics, a 3D camera, and the ability to explore the seas, this game almost always has something to do! The only problem I have with this game is its smaller playerbase, but that's even more incentive to help bring back this game!
It's okay, we've all played this game before with a different theme. Build an island (base), plunder gold and grog (basic currencies) or spend money to get gems (real currency). Felt like a slap in the dick when I got a "special offer" for $49.99 shoved in my face on day 2 of playing. Like I get you guys worked hard on the game and such but that's an obvious money grab and you're just contributing to the trend of this industry looking for any way to monetize their players.
Good game, no updates in a long time. I used to like this game but it hasn't seen much change or updates in a long time. Unlike CoC the development seems to have died off. Worse, the game is buggy. I restarted playing again, after a few year hiatus, and after a few weeks the game overwrite my island, throwing me back to the beginning. In a game like this, that is unacceptable.
I can't give this game more than 3 starts. The content is good. Graphics are okay, the MOST annoying part of this game is when I go in to upgrade building or defense or ANYTHING for that matter.....when I exit out and come back into the game hours later the building never upgraded!!! It happens over and over and over! I'm so close to deleting the game for this reason. If any developers read this, I'm playing on the pixel 7.
