The assessment they have you take has responses that make very little sense, both wording wise and o their scale of 'controlled' to 'overwhelmed' - e.g. emotionally shutting down and going numb is 'controlled' but my emotions take over is 'overwhelmed'... on the same question. 'Plan it, do it!' is an answer for multiple questions and make very little sense. EDIT: Paid, heavily uses AI, and is techniques you can find EASILY online, for free, without an AI coach. Don't bother.
I had the chance to try DBTMind - The DBT app, and it's been genuinely helpful for managing BPD. The content is detailed, well-organized, and actually practical. Its not just surface-level tips either. If you're looking for a structured way to work through DBT skills, this app delivers.
I downloaded this app after seeing what was apparently the creators GF on tiktok talking about how this was created. It sounded amazing so jumped straight on to it, ESPECIALLY AS SHE SAID IT WAS FREE! And the small part I saw was good and then.... it asks for a subscription! No thanks.... a false promise of free support - doesnt the MH community have enough of those 🤭
I liked what I could access, but most of the app is behind the paywall. I considered subscribing, but I don't want a dbt app that only works while online. Access is important.
