It works and is useful. Not only can I record games but also the sound too. I just wish there was a way to record only the sound from the screen and not from the environment around me at the same time. The pause recording button is quite useful as well so I don't have to worry about recording filler. Ok so I notice the screen gets really pixelated and hard to see the video with picture clarity while playing the video. Even with 1080p the screen is pixelated.
This app SUCKS on chomebook. I tried recording for a youtube video and it started, then froze up and made my chromebook crash. My God, that's the way it is with every app I try! It's like people don't even TRY to accomodate chromebooks! I do NOT recommend for anyone who records on a chromebook. It will make your computer crash. I lost progress on my report due to this app because it wasn't finished saving. For the love of all that is good, fix this please. Then maybe I'll consider redownloading.
This is a really good app . But I have a few issues with this. 1) when I record it records everything (like every sound in my surroundings) it's really hard to have silence. And when I record I only want the sound of the game(or the thing I'm recording). So it would be great if this has a feature that will only record the sound of the game . 2) everything should be free like no passes.
if you're using a chromebook, DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I'm a youtuber and since my ipad turned useless, I've switched to a chromebook as I need it for my studies anyway. I needed to screen record my video so I searched for screen record apps and this one had quite good reivews. It was fine but then after its first recording, a notification popped up asking if i wanted to share my screen. I clicked yes as there's no other option, and screen turned super laggy and I uninstalled the app right away.
