Ted Alspach's castle-building board game comes alive on Android! The winner of the prestigious 2015 Mensa Mind Games award tasks players with building extravagant castles for King Ludwig of Bavaria. Castles are constructed one room at a time, with a different player each round setting the prices for the others, resulting in a competitive, engaging game where building is as much fun as winning!

This is a fun implementation, and it IS sort of multiplayer. You can play against your friends by handing your phone or tablet around. The only things it's missing that I would truly like to see are: online play with friends and an implementation of the board game's solo play. Take advantage of the fact that if you are Master Builder, and you have zero money, other AI players will gang up on you and won't buy anything. If you put ANY room that has coins on it in the 1-spot, you'll get it!
This is a great game, and a good implementation with two minor gripes: 1. In one-player mode, I always begin as the first player, always. It would be better if that was variable. 2. The pass button is right where my thumb is for scrolling the board, and on several occasions I've passed on accident while just trying to look around. I would recommend a "confirm decision" step for this and other times when I wasn't quite ready to commit to my placement. Otherwise a great little game.
The app is a great extension of the already fantastic board game. Easy to use and plays just like the real game. I love the added challenges in the app, though some are pretty dang tough, especially with a bit of luck needed in getting the right tiles/bonus cards. Overall I love it and hope they add more to it in the future.
I only wish we could tap on the section at the top that shows how many of each size room tiles there are available so we can see what types of rooms each size could come in. To just have a drop-down picture for reference when you tap on it. Or even have the room type symbols on the tiles like the backs of physical tiles do. It's a minor detail, but it's helpful for me to see the potential room types of each room size during gameplay. -The Wife
