This game sucks. There's like 70 characters and only 9 megazords. The actual gameplay is a mash up between a fighting game and a turn based trading card game. New characters typically cost about $35.00 after you buy crystals to do the stupid store mission and then you can't really get more through playing the game. The matches are also really quick. I figured out the other person's strategy but couldn't make good on it due to 1 round games. I'd rank higher if I could actually use all my moves.
Needs more game modes than just 1v1 matches repeatedly. It's fun, but no story mode or side quests. Only one way to get fighters or upgrades, and that's the repeated 1v1 fights. I unlocked megazords, but that's still just 1v1 fights. I like fights take skill with timing and distance to win. I wanted more game modes. Don't know what being in alliance does. You don't play together in quests. It'll still be fun for a bit. Like Mortal Kombat, but with skill rotation and timers. Blocking is a "skill"
I have been playing the game for some time now and the game has gotten better with all the new updates and newly added Rangers and villains. When new updates comes there are still some glitches here and there during game play that makes this one sided. One issue I do have is the amount of coins one receive after winning a match and gathering the items needed to level up your characters faster. This is more of a pay to level up to get stronger and win but the fights do take some serious skills.
Honestly, I don't like this game anymore. It USED to be free to play, now it's REALLY pay to win, with overpriced characters, and over half of the characters in the game being locked behind a pay wall is INSANE. Plus the combat system is janky now, with them focusing on new characters and not revisiting old characters to change and rebalance, or buff because some are just too weak, even when they are high level. Used to be game of the year for me, now it's in 85 for game ranking on my list.
