I love the Oddworld franchise and wish I could play this game. I've installed it on multiple devices, but no matter what, I can't load past the start menu. I can select a name and difficulty, but as soon as I press start, the game has 1 loading screen, then crashes. No data saves, so I can't load into a game, and starting a new game just results in the same thing. I've verified the download and reinstalled it on multiple devices multiple times. I hope they fix it so I can give it 5 stars soon!
Played for over an hour until I had to Bettis the bridge with the two motor enemies. It goes to the loading screen, and the game has an error and closes. I tried requesting a refund, but Google denied me. Saying "it's not in their policy." Was a really great game until it crashed. I would love a fix devs. Otherwise, I just feel scammed, and just want me 2 bucks back.
Loved this game back on the original Xbox. I had a gift card and I bought this not expecting to use touch controls (I was just going to download it and wait until I bought a Bluetooth controller). Instead, I decided to try it out and on a Pixel 2 is runs perfect and it's honestly not hard to control (think using motion controls for bow and arrow in Breath of the wild). As long as you use the motion controls for aiming, it's super fluid to play this game without a controller.
The game is fantastic, always has been. Only ever played the Android and Ouya (technically early Android) versions. Unfortunately I rated only 4, as it crashes on my Samsung Galaxy S23 FE once I reach the outskirts of Buzzarton. I can bounty the first three outlaw bosses and finish the first two chapters of the game ("The Way of the Hunter" and "Shortly Thereafter, a Stranger Arrives in Town...") But it's like playing a demo. Chapter 3 loading screen crashes the game. Hope they fix that.
