This is a Play Pass review. If I could rate this zero stars, I would. The game scales at an exponentially fast rate and you cannot win without paying. Google does not put any effort into determining what a Play Pass game is outside of ensuring you don't see ads or spend real money. If they did, this game would not be allowed on Play Pass in its current state.
it's a fun and well designed game, and technically it can be played offline (IE doesn't require a persistent connection), but it won't _launch_ without a connection. That's frustrating and problematic. I gave it a good long wait to see if the attempt to connect would time out; it didn't. Fix that and you'll get more stars
I like this game a lot, but the ads are overpowering! I can't even defeat a boss without an ad popping up 2 times and THEN it's 15 dollars to remove adds but you can't link your account to play or FB so if you do pay it's an even bigger waste, I cant restore my old account that had purchases on it! once some big things get fixed and game play and story updated, maybe even multiplayer, I would give this a 5 star.
Used to be a good game. I stopped playing for a little while and when I came back, my game was gone, so I had to restart. Now, the game crashes left and right, and runs an ad every minute or so. Just now, when I started the game, the opening screen hadn't even fully coalesced when the first ad began. It's just garbage now.
