The game is just as good as I remember on any other platform its released on in the past. The only unfortunate part is no backbone support just yet, I understand that there's only Xbox, Ps4, and Ps5 native controller support, so at the moment I'm kind of just waiting until it gets added. I'm unsure if I can use the backbone as an "Xbox" controller, I haven't been able to figure that one out yet even when looking it up. Oh and the touch controls are amazing, i just got a new thing I want to use:)
Absolutely LOVE Slime Rancher!! SO happy it's now on mobile. I really hope the sequel comes to mobile too! So far game pay is exactly like the computer version. Sure, the graphics are not as "whoa awesome" but being simpler for mobile makes sense. That's not my biggest priority so I'm good. I'm struggling a little with the controls since I don't usually play first person games on my phone. Hoping I can get my xBox controller working, then I'll be set. Just SO happy to have my fave game back!!
As a longtime slime rancher fan, this is a dream come true! The amount of accessibility provided to fans like me who can't afford a PS5 or an Xbox is very appreciated. I was never expecting anything groundbreaking in terms of visuals and performance, of course. I'm just so glad to be playing the full game for just $7.49 (Note: this was a preregistered price only.) and to be able to carry it around in my pocket, wherever I go.
An amazing port of slime rancher 1, this feels like a great way to revisit the game after so long. Especially when your out at work or during a car ride and ypu have some free time, you can just pop right in and play a little bit and then go back to doing what you were doing. My only problem is that it does stutter and lag from time to time, and it does over heat my phone after a little while. Although I do wonder if in the near future, will we get a mobile port of Slime rancher 2? I Hope so!
