Same thing. I didn't fall for it and removed it as fast as possible, then checked all my phone settings and permissions, cleared all my cache data, and made sure nothing was uploaded or changed. It was a page and a page, hard to even exit out. Don't trust this. Be smart and use your common sense, guys. Always try to exit the first page when you open it. Installed this "free app" and it wouldn't let me do anything till I put in my credit card number. Uninstalled it and I'll probably get the same response as everyone else with this issue. That's it's a misunderstanding but nope. In response to my reply, there was no add, I downloaded your fake free add, hit open, and was told to create an account I could not bypass the create a account and when I did that it asked for my. email, then credit card number with no way to skip it so nope
3 stars because of the deceptive ads. I am not sure if you are aware of the companies that display ads on your website and how they display a bar code in the ad. I just to warn other people to be careful when you first open this because there is a bar code ad that pops up trying to get you to sign up and obtain your credit card information. It is deceptive because you think that you are clicking to open up the code you just scanned. Otherwise app does well.
I only used this app once to scan a QR code and did not realize I had subscribed. I was unexpectedly charged, and when I requested a refund, it was denied. This experience is very disappointing. I respectfully hope the developer can reconsider and help return my money, especially since this was unintentional. Please improve transparency regarding subscriptions to avoid this happening to other users.
