Rapido bikes are good but with extra money. You don't get captains during busy days unless you hike your fare up. My cab Experience was bad. I sent my location via the app's map to the driver. I was on a call with him. The driver still couldn't find me or figure out the location. I cancelled the ride as I was getting late. There were a lot of ads in the app. I had to scroll up to find my cab details.
I'm really disappointed with the Rapido Auto service lately. I’ve been trying to book an auto for over an hour, but none of the drivers are accepting the rides. It seems like unless I add an extra tip, no one is willing to take the booking. This is extremely frustrating and defeats the whole purpose of using the app. What’s the point of showing available autos if they never accept the ride? Honestly, it has become a worst experience and feels like a waste of time now.
I had a terrible experience yesterday. After completing my first auto ride and making the payment, the app kept showing that the ride was still in progress. Even after restarting my phone twice, the issue persisted for about 15 minutes. We tried booking from another phone, but no drivers accepted. Later, without us realizing, a booking went through. When I tried again from my phone, it also booked—resulting in two drivers arriving at the same time.
Completely useless app for me! They lured me in with a 50% off on your 1st ride offer, but when I tried booking, the app asked me to increase the fare — basically removing the discount! I even agreed and willing to pay original fare but then waited for 15–20 minutes with no rider accepting the trip. The app just kept hanging there doing nothing for 10 mints. In the end, I had to step out, find a shuttle auto on my own, and finally reached my destination after wasting nearly half an hour! 🙄
