Earning diamonds to unlock the next chapters is either through watching ads, playing a "mini-game" where you need to move puzzle pieces around but there's only 1 open spot where you need to move the pieces around the whole board, or by paying money. Disappointed. Occasionally I will have selected all 5 differences but the game doesn't recognize it. 5 circles will be on each picture (10 total) and yet it will not highlight all 5 indicators.
Update- I came back to the game after awhile and I'm sad to learn my gameplay didn't save. I must have forgotten to upload it manually. please add Google sign in auto save of progress! So hard to find a good detective game that isn't all "find the item". This one has a great story and in depth characters with enough different things to do to keep it fresh.
Only one episode is free, the others must be purchased individually (it gets expensive!) I found this game plays best on tablet, cause some scene differences are nearly impossible to see on a phone. Also, the English translation is a bit poor and that makes it much harder to understand the story and therefore identify the criminal. Good concept & art but flawed execution :(
Great art style and story telling! I've only completed the first case so far but I'm enjoying the game quite a lot. They did a great job that even after all the evidence was gathered it wasn't immediately apparent which suspects could be ruled out. The questioning was a lot of fun, too. The game also doesn't require you to spend money or watch 20 ads to be able to progress. At least it hasn't until this point. I watched a total of 3 ads to gain hearts so far and made no purchases.
