Just starting out it seems to offer a lot. I can agree with other reviewers the voice is kinda bland (cant tell if it's ai or not) but it seems to offer a lot my main reason for a 3 star review is the insane price tag is almost $450 for what is labeled 3 lessons (which i think is all of them For the language) they offer a app discount for 60% off still almost $180 usd though it's not a subscription so I guess you can use it forever. similar programs cost less however are for limited time
Great app overall. It teaches through stories and reinforces what you learn well. Only downside: lesson 1.7 feels rushed and try to cover too much at once, which gets overwhelming. Also, in role-play, the voice recording cuts off too quickly if you pause to think before speaking, forcing you to hit the record button again. Still a good app with solid learning methods.
The app barely works. It doesn't register your voice, gives incorrect results, and is an overall frustrating experience. I've tried using different ear buds, the phone itself, speaker phone, and headphones. The app will only sometimes recognize what you said. No matter how many times you contact support, the outcome is the same - we're working on the issues and we expect a better experience in the future. Very sorry I spent money on this and no way to get a refund either.
It's a really good app, but I only gave it three stars because I feel like it's really boring, I often find myself zoning out when listening to the audio recordings. I'm taking Spanish and the education is amazing. I'm a homeschooled high schooler and I wish that they had more colors, activities that were like games, and actual videos and not just audio recordings. I do understand that not everyone needs more entertainment to learn, but it might help some of us who need a little extra.
