The game is fun, no timers, no flashy graphics to distract from the puzzles, interesting tidbits of information about flora and fauna you might be familiar with from Runaway's other games. I just wish the levels for purchase were cheaper and there weren't quite a few grammatical/spelling errors (which really aren't helpful in a letter-decoding game).
YAY Runaway! excited to see more varieties of gameplay with your signature "cute but actual specific species of animals" style which is what attracts me to all your games. I like that this is different and has continuous game play- my main complaint with your other games like pondlife is that after you feed your fish theres nothing to do but wait. I'd love to see a game that had some identification or memory testing for ID of species in the future. love learning while playing.
Good: auto insert of letters once chosen. Bad: categories give away a word. So far, every "butterfly" puzzle includes the word "butterfly." Not a lot of challenge when a word that long is obvious. Extremely annoying: having some letters filled in from the start. I get it. Some people haven't been doing these for 30-40 years & it helps them learn. But for the love of god, make it possible to turn those off! It is ruining the game for me. Do they at least go away after you reach a certain level?
The game will start to slow down over time, especially if you have opened multiple puzzles in a run. Would like to see either more true-to-life illustrations of the animals or at least their species names to prevent confusion. Also (see 26 May Daily puzzle), when most of the sentence is just common names, the puzzle becomes unfairly difficult.
