i really want to give these guys 5 stars. the game itself is awesome. like a fast paced version of risk. the rain they get 2 stars is because the fun is limited by the bots game play. it is 100% responsive to your play and not at all random. therefore they always have the perfect counter and just the right amount of troops to win most battles. when the countdown ends my play is automatically finished, but I'll get messages waiting for the other player? explain how they can still play.
Okay for the "casual" player, however, this is clearly a "pay to play" game - at least if you want a fighting chance. I'd be more willing to invest in a game if I didn't feel forced. So, between not being able to win a lot of matches - because I won't pay - and players quitting (disconnect from Wifi) because of unfair advantages, it's hard to take this game..."seriously."
free strategy game that doesn't make u buy thing's jest to be able to complete with opponents. Ads don't overwhelm you. I'm grateful for them. Ads allow for upgrades, no need to spend money. Also great if you don't want ads, cheap to upgrade. There is also one ad after each Battle that doesn't give you a upgrade. My opinion Great deal for long play time for free. Ad free is cheap to if you want. Best free Strategy game. Excellent game system. Guess I have 200 plus hours in probably lot more.
Played this game all the time, for years. Other reviews are totally correct, the update ruined it. I'm not necessarily opposed to change, but the game looks worse, plays worse, less intuitive, you name it. Definitely going to uninstall after I finish this review. Super dissapointed, I had even purchased the premium version for more maps (which were removed). Seems like rights to the game were bought out, and the new team made a big change just for the sake of it. Awful app now, don't get it.
