It's working very well once again. In the Control Panel, Draw Over Other Apps must be turned ON. Also Picture-In-Picture must be "allowed" to do the things I want out of Video Assistant. I can now browse other apps while continuing to watch my streaming TV news channel on the browser. Somehow those got turned OFF, no idea how. I can only find them in Control Panel too. But all is working good.
Used to be great until this recent update. It says that this is more for one-handed use, but they've gotten rid of the quick access to bookmarks on the bottom bar. That's the only reason I used this over Chrome. Instant one-handed access to bookmarks. Unless I'm one of the few that use this feature, this is a major buzzkill. Bring this feature back pronto, please.
With the latest update the "share" is USELESS. It is cluttered with nearby devices when I'm isolated in my car. Then there is an annoying blank space for contacts I can't remove. I just want to share to another app. Also the long press no longer lets me save a link. I really, really, don't want to play MP3s, I want to download them, but you no longer let me.
This is my first time opening Samsung's own applications made for Samsung devices on my non-Samsung tablet and it works perfectly! It's fast, stable, and has a true dark mode where everything converts to dark from white. I suggest that everybody should download this app, and it also works in conjunction with ad blockers to remove annoying ads during your browsing experience. My device is running Android 5.0. I will convert this app to system app when I can run it to find issues with this app.
