Afrikaans is the easiest language to learn for English speakers, but is unpopular and unfortunately lacking resources. Ling is one the best Afrikaans apps I could find. I have been using it for 1 year, and completed all lessons. It has also been getting valuable updates to help explain grammer more, but can be a little glitchy at times. If you want to learn Afrikaans, use this app alongside Mondly, Clozemaster, and non-app resources such as youtube videos (Systraat), podcasts, and AI lessons.
This app has an amazing interface and has really been helping me learn Afrikaans quite fast and efficiently! If I had just one complaint, it would be that the speaking feature isn't quite up to par; when the app prompts me to speak, most of the time it only catches a single syllable of what I say and grades me according to that. Otherwise, this is a fantastic app to learn with!
This app is great, no lie, only one issue that gets on my nerves is that the lesson's structure is the same for all lessons, no creativity, no variation, absolute same format. im quick to recognising patterns, so the moment I got used to the routine of lesson it got really boring and pointless. a different feel each lesson would make this a top tier app, utilise other techniques, memory match for instance, dont make it the same old song over and over again.
It is a life changing app you can have conversions and it will give you a session where you can prounce the word and it will tell you the correct pronunciation
