I've really enjoyed Ling's Bosnian course. Crisp, clean presentation, engaging bite-sized lessons that don't overwhelm me. Worth the price. I've pinged their tech support and they've come across as quick to respond, pro-active and helpful, which I appreciate.
This app is NOT FREE. There are a few free lessons in the initial trial but after that you have to pay. I wish they could just be honest about that upfront. The lessons seem good. I like the occasional grammatical information. I also liked the bit where grades your pronunciation though it doesn't always work perfectly. But I'm not prepared to pay £8.50/month for a fun hobby. ETA I don't object to you valuing your efforts & charging for them; I object to you offering it as free, then charging.
the starting part of the introduction, everything is fine. However, the speaking part seems broken no matter how many times you speak into the mic, it either spins and does nothing, or it states there is something wrong (assuming technical). speaking into the normal built-in voice recorder on the phone works just fine. connect phone to an external microphone that is higher quality still the same issue. if they actually fix whatever is causing this issue to the mic, I'll change the review.
I'm enjoying it immensely...the lessons are light and easy hence I learn a lot at very fast phase. Every lesson you can practice your pronunciation by audio and speaking. On top of that I paid very cheap price for one language for one year but Ling gave me an access for free to its 60 languages for 1 year. Thank you so much.
