It's a great app, the listening portion seems to be spot on according to my Vietnamese friend I tried it with. My friend did point out that the pictures for the speaking part don't really Match the vocabulary very well. One example is the sentence was about the boy drinking coffee, and it's just a picture of the a coffee cup. I have tried a few apps to practice Vietnamese, and so far I am really impressed with this one.
It's my first time learning Vietnamese and I practically got thrown straight into the deep end. Languages have rules, specific pronouns, etc and you get introduced to full sentences and expected to arrange sentences in the first beginner lesson. The chat bots aren't any better. I had no idea what was happening and it was overall a terrible experience. You learn numbers before you learn how to carry on a basic conversation in the lessons. In fact, it never teaches pronouns or sentence rules.
Best app I have come across to learn vietnamese. A lot of other apps I tried previously sounded veyy robotics and somewhat aggressive. This app has real voices and spoken with a nice easy accent to help you learn quicker and easier. I managed to get a promotional voucher for the full version, which I have to say is the best decision ever. So far (still a beginner) I have found learning much quicker and easier.
My experience is VERY good. I personaly had a problem where i was charged yearly instead of monthly. But the team answer was so prompt my problem was solved quickly. I recommend it for the example sentences with vocabulary. The only downside is not having a word list of all voca learned. But they said they are working on ir and there are other features meanwhile. Personally i had to write it down manually but it was do-able. Seriously, fast answering was the best. 5 starts.
