****Update: I love the little mini map in the lower corner. Easier to just click on the icon to go to the shop. You get both Hearts and Coins for doing things around the map. **** I don't like the new update with the characters and changing clothes options. Is there another app that just had the shops? My 3 yr old really liked the older set up. You can't see the whole map now. You have to hold your finger down to walk around and find the ships now.
Whatever you do don't buy ad free it doesn't remove all ads and if you contact them to complain they give you some rubbish about how it only removes some ads and not others and the ones still there are to allow people to get paid content for free even though there is no way to pay for the content. And as a kids game it serves ads that are clearly targeted at adults and are not always age appropriate.
My toddler loves this game, lots of ads but you can do watch one ad and get 5 mins ad free, which we managed to do a few time. We've now paid to upgrade to no ads and so far so good. My main issue with this game is when you pay in-game coins to unlock an ingredient it's not there the next time you open the game, this bothers my son as he doesn't understand why he can't use it again. Also, one ingredient is 'watch an ad' to unlock but the ad won't load (shouldn't be there anyway as I paid).
I actually think this game is great to play. There is no paying actual money for stuff like flavors, ingredients, and etc. There are coins you can earn while making ice cream pops and selling it, which you can use on buying more stuff for the ice pops. There are also only a few short ads. This one of the better games I believe from the little panda/baby panda games compared to a few other making food games. 🤗
