I've played a paid gin rummy game by a certain big time playing card company. This one is just as nice. Actually this one edges the other one out because of the play interface. The other one doesn't let you arrange your own hand. And the other one claims to use the best opponent ai available to them. Honestly they seem similar to me. Usually nice game play but once in a while a hand can go sideways. Three gin in a single game? No. In a row? GTFO I'll pay to get rid of these ridiculous ads
Good and simple little game for easy enjoyment. Stable and easy to get in and out of. The ads aren't too bad and usually are short with ways to exit them. But be prepared that it will cheat sometimes because it knows what is in your hand. It will at times pick up cards you need and hold them so can't get it. But then if you go out, the card is nowhere to be found and has never been discarded. Or it will hold several low cards you need, and then knock with them knowing you have quite a few cards. Update: after the latest update, the game seems to cheat worse with cards being picked up and vanishing. Also the computer seems to get every card it needs relatively fast. Almost making it no fun to play anymore.
Used to love this game. Tried other Gin apps but always came back to this. Then they went & changed it. Was bad enough that I caught the game cheating. Maybe it was glitches, but I stuck with it. It seems so far that it's now even harder to beat the computer. And I can't even figure out how the rounds work. Glad for ad-free version, but I'm not paying $13 for it. I'll be looking again at other games to replace this one.
I get repeating ads. I give all ads a reasonable time on screen. one advertisement plays three or four times. when I leave I lose my whole game. I've tried all I know to do; including re-install. I hope this company fixes this annoying problem. I will get rid of it if they can't. I realize the ads pay for the game. I started during the pandemic when I was volunteering. it was nice, relaxing In past year after 2 surgeries in an eye the ads cause much eye strain. I would buy more TV instead.
