It's a decently fun little game, and it does it's job of being a good timewaster, as is the nature of mobile games, but my biggest issue the basically FORCED NECESSITY to watch ads to make any meaningful progression. I'm one of the few people who always purchase the "ZERO ADS package" and I expect a fun and functional game without the annoyance of said ads. However in here, the scaling for the cost of upgrades is totally skewed to where you MUST watch ads to progress at a decent pace. Not cool.
Don't play this game. Devs can't decide on a gameplay model and have completed gutted the game 3 times in 12 months (overwriting countless hrs of hard work to convert everything to the new systems). The gameplay has little to offer, the art is unimaginative and the developers think this basic game is worth shelling out $60+ for in-game-store bundles on a regular basis. Buying No-Forced-Ads doesnt stop forced in-game-store pop-up bundle ads. Support did nothing to help.
Starts off really fun but they really suck at balancing the end game areas. difficulty skyrockets from one small section to the next, forcing you to grind for days for a little bit of progress. The other major issue is those stupid bats. They're a good tool when you're weak enough to die, but there's no way to turn them off once you're strong enough to farm the level. They suck the fun out of the game, stealing your progress from you and making it feel like you're not accomplishing anything.
The music is amazing! I usually listen to a podcast while I play a game, but this one I actually want to have the music on for sometimes! The only thing that's unrelated to ads that I have to say is that I'd love to be able to choose the songs, or maybe they just play in order on a loop, only because when you move through rooms it changes just when I'm getting in the groove of a song. Lol but onto the ads, they're fairly short and not SUPER disruptive, but I wish they were optional.
