I can't arrange my cards. Ai opponent just keeps picking up your discard just to throw it right back down. not realistic play in any way. gets boring. I can't do a big gin 99% of the time. would be nice to change background and card backs, but not the reason for the rating. AI play is really bad
I am giving it a 3. Reasons are, they will not let you arrange your cards in your hand. I am OCD and that is a major issue for me. It changes your sets or runs without asking. The biggest issue is you NEVER lose. 1 lost once in about 100 rounds. And I did that on purpose just to see if it would do it. 2 of the hands went to out of cards! If we are playing a computer, the programmer is dumb!
This app actually follows standard gin rules, awards appropriate points and stores cumulative stats. Straightforward interface. I would award 5 stars if you could alter forced meld arrangements without having to discard one of those cards. Only 1 glitch encountered when a big gin wasn't recognized and had to draw a card on the next turn, turning it into a normal GIN.
I like the graphics and the gameplay, wish it kept a tally of win and losses. Also, the PASS and GIN buttons are unresponsive sometimes in game play and many commercials are too long...when you click the X it's to close, not open in the Play store for you to hit the back button to get back to it. if I clicked the X means I wasn't interested and sometimes I already have that game installed.
