the game itself is fantastic. 5 stars. However I have an extreme issue with their recent updates. they recently tailored their shop against play pass members. they did this by removing everything we could 'purchase' from the store. I can use my gems to buy things in the store, but I can't buy any new gems or bundles. edit: 2 month later. still same issue for play pass. and now we have to kill with a lvl 1 hero for event. wondering if it's somehow easier for other players. also no buy for them.
It's a good game overall. Initial layouts keep levels from being repetitive, so it gives your brain more to think about what to place where. My only real negative is that the game sometimes crashes and makes me replay a level from Wave 1; if I have to do that when I was at Wave 7 or higher, it's disheartening.
I had to drop the score to a 1. Got to level 50 and the game hit a massive difficulty spike. Massive amounts of enemies are thrown at you and the game doesn't give you the buildings to deal with the numbers. You are expected to watch copious amounts of ads and pay to get past, not to mention the ads in between waves. I've hit my breaking point, which is a shame because the game was fun before this, but the ads and difficulty spike is just too much.
The game crashed, we're I reopened it I was at level 1. I was over 60, I've been playing for a week. I'm so disappointed. no option to contact support. nothing, it's just gone. I had to uninstall and reinstall. now it's showing a way to contact support and other things, but I'm frustrated I waisted time trying to figure this out.
