For the most part, I am loving this game so far. A lot of fun with fun decks snd cool cards to collect. However, I told a few about it and they in turn downloaded it and we have all spent money. But in return we aren't able to play against each other. It always says code invalid when we attempt to do the private match. Half the reason we all downloaded. I have a 5 star review waiting for this game once fixed. Otherwise, this game is great.
Great game! It's similar to Hearthstone and the Elder Scrolls deck-builders, as well as taking a few pages from MTG's playbook (there's nothing wrong with drawing inspiration from the OG's of TCG's). The devs made it unique by tweaking a few of the gameplay mechanics that are inherent in all deck-builders/TCG's. Take, for example, the new way that casting costs and their associated currencies. I actually like the way it's handled in this game.
The scaffoldings of what could be a good game. The art for the cards is fantastic, I love the angel and djinn aesthetics a lot. however the game is incredibly unbalanced and very Ubisoft levels of pay to win. it certainly better than that money hungry marvel snap, but the most basic features of any deck builder aren't there. You can't see missing cards, you can't craft missing cards, or prevent repeats. an additionally the heroes are very unbalanced, with the necromancer far stronger.
I just made a $50 in-app purchase for some 5400 diamonds. After that transaction was complete, I was prompted by the game of I would like to make another transaction for 19.99 that would give me 1200 more diamond and an random animated epic card. The transaction went through but I didn't receive anything. I will adjust score when devs rectify this. Also, the duplicate protection does NOT work. There are some cards I have quantities of 6 orr 7 in JUST ONE TYPE of finish (ie x6 foil).
