They still haven't fixed what they ruined. The 'legacy' keypad isn't the legacy keypad at all. What happened to the single row keypad? The one that I always had before this idiotic update that improved nothing. The keypad that didn't cause my play area to shrink significantly. I will not be playing this unless and until it gets fixed. I'll probably just have to delete it. Again.
edit for March 2026 update: very disappointed with the AI rework. The new interface is less intuitive and uses space less efficiently. The announcement said you could go to the old layout, but it's actually just the row layout in the worse UI. Old review: My go-to sudoku app! Thoughtful puzzles with regular special themes and tons of variants. I like that you can color code and, for certain puzzles, add hidden sums. The paid version is also a reasonable one-time price if you do a lot of puzzles.
edit: the game is so good, lots of free variants, the hints make sense if you need them. they're very satisfying to play. the ads are intrusive, but no more so than other free apps of this type. I don't mind spending 10 seconds waiting, it gives me a chance to look away from my phone and rest my eyes. if you get a sketchy ad, just submit a ticket through the support/feedback button. They technically don't control the ads so if there's a bad one, just report it. I did that and Udi was awesome
An excellent soduku game, maybe the best one i've tried, but $23 to get rid of ads and unlock the other variations is kind of insane. It's got enough ads to make me really want to pay to turn them off but not that much. If it was priced similar to their Sugaru game (which is also excellent) I would definitely buy it, but $23 is a bit aggressive for me when there are dozens of Soduku games that are very good.
