The combat system felt too simple, especially melee, just swing your weapon until the enemy is defeated didn't feel as fun as using magic, would of been cool if it had cool flashy skills like whirlwind for example. the RNG cooking was a bit annoying, also not a fan of the mini game either, should of been instant cooking. also the price is a bit high even on sale (as someone who mainly buys games on sale, I've seen better options on games that got for .99cents - $1.99) Still a cool game though.
A great sequel to a great RPG series. This title is on my very short list of premium Android games that plan to purchase, maybe even number one on that list since the people who own the rights to Titan Quest can't seem to stick with a developer let alone a version that won't result in me being asked to buy the same game multiple times. I'd rather buy a game with just as much depth from a developer dedicated to supporting their releases and who recognizes the value of the dollar on this platform
I really liked it and was longer than I thought. Controls are pretty fluid. For those who want to play without magic or certain fantasy elements for a real feel, it's definitely an option. You get ability coins to unlock permanent stats and also improved stats just from leveling up. It gives me a Nox, Ice wind Dale, and some elements of games that have cooking and misc skills. Taming pets? Awesome. They have a Steam PC version too, tho it's more expensive than the mobile.
I really like this series of games. I am hesitant to purchase the full version because of a few problems with the demo. The status boxes overlap on each other so you cannot read what you are getting and the main problem is the storage bag icon is so close to the floating joystick on the left side that whenever you move it activates and the status screens appears. This really becomes a problem after a while and takes away the fun and flow of the game. (Update) thank you for rapid response!!
