I've played Ultimate X for over ten years now and who knows how many hundreds of hours into it at casinos. Absolutely love the game. But not this app. The casino versions are regulated and every hand has to be completely random. This app is NOT random. Even when playing with perfect holds, everything to the book, you will ALWAYS run out of "money" fast, including on the lowest $0.01 denomination. It is intentionally coded this way to get you to want to buy more pretend money. Predatory.
Although I luv Ultimate X, This game is NOT fun unless you buy chips. Once the free chips run out you must wait 2 hrs for more or watch videos about other games to get more. Unless you plan on spending real $$$ DON'T bother with this. The machines in casinos actually pay better! After playing for a while my opinion has changed. If you get a decent daily spin along with 2k points for playing a couple weeks, you do get to play for a while.
No annoying 5 minute long ads. It seems to be rather fair, even if the payout schedule is generous. It doesn't exactly follow randomness (more likely to get an "inside straight" than a casino), but game play is fun and I recommend this particular app over the others. I've tried many others, this is the only video poker app still on my phone.
I love this game but today the wheel which spins to add additional points isn't working. I use the help button and tell them what's wrong and they fix it as soon as possible. 1/4/26. The wheel has hit on 200. 300, or 400 most of the night The return amount stays on 100 and doesn't move at all. it's difficult to get enough coins to stay when the wheel doesn't hit high numbers. Not happy with this game tonight. c
