Concept is actually pretty neat. unfortunately, it's more or less like gambling. not in the sense that you're spending money to get nothing at all, but more because it's almost entirely luck based. maybe if there was a way to direct your units to attack certain enemies it'd be great, but as is... I've lost more attempts than I'd like to admit because my units focused on a random enemies in the middle of nowhere.
Gets boring and repetitive fast via being 85% luck 15% strategy/skill, and copying too many aspects and negatives of modern mobile games. Also, I really don’t like when a game has a single cutscene at the start but then never again. At least the game has a cute artstyle, and there are many enemies with unique effects (many mobile games don't have that)- and makes demons the protagonists and good guys, that doesn't happen often in media, and I'm glad that you all are trying to change that.
It's an un-game. You spend more time claiming rewards from a couple dozen different screens than you do "playing" the game. The gameplay itself doesn't exist, there's not a thing to actually do except choose upgrades, which would be passable if the rounds didn't end right as you start to develop something. it's a real shame because the art style is wonderful and there's clearly some creativity in the dev team as the different unit abilities are unique and interesting but it just doesn't matter
The core gameplay is good, but that's not the reason for the low rating. The drop chances for anything good are abysmal. There's microtransactions everywhere. Energy systems are a horrible design concept that prevents gameplay for extended periods of time. In-game subscriptions? Really? They aren't that good either. The bonuses are pretty bad. The list goes on. Im only level 5, and I already have this many complaints. The gameplay is the only thing worth a damn.
