Fun to play overall. Very little to do each day though. After an hour you're all out of battles etc. You can't go back and replay old campaigns in order to farm materials. Also I've been playing the game for around a year now and there hasn't been any significant updates. No new events, levels, side games or extras. So whilst I still enjoy it I fear soon once all the characters are collected and all campaigns completed there will be nothing more to do.
Fantastic game for the long haul. It goes really quickly at first but after a couple weeks, progress slows. Upgrades improve your performance in small increments. There is definitely a grind here. But I've gotten my timing down so I play about 45 minutes straight and then check in periodically during the day. I did spend .99 once when I first started but haven't spent anything since then. You could progress MUCH faster if you throw some money at it, but you can get every character for free
It looks good and controls are easy to understand and use. Lots of characters. Several different ways to battle and collect a multitude of items. No real story line, no journey. Just a group of characters battling another group of characters or your group of characters battles a single boss type character. Although, this can be entertaining at first; it becomes tedious grinding after a few days and the entertainment value eventually falls of a cliff.
Its a great ftp rpg game. If you are looking to just kill monsters, level up characters, skills and armor, summon for legendary monsters, and progress to open up more content, then this is the perfect fun game to play. As far as main story line and chat, not so much. And the occasionsal server lag also, but still, more positive than negative. They've also just added a new awakening to the game so hopefully that will make the game even better. Once it finally works devs.
