The instant all the holes are filled, it doesn't let me keep playing, but forces me to watch an ad to add a box, or start over (which also plays an ad anyway). Even though I could totally still add screws to the colored boxes already there. Really lame. It should only do that if I have no moves left. If I can still fill a box, and/or I have a drill to make an extra hole, then don't force me to give up or unlock boxes! Wait until I'm actually stuck! Greedy ad farming forcing me to lose.
The game itself is a good time killer, and also somewhat mezmerizing as you release screw by screw. Unfortunately, you'll snap out of it quickly with ads on every new level and every retry, with no options to pay for no ads. As the levels get harder, it becomes more likely you'll have to retry, which means...moar ads! I got up to level 20 and will probably uninstall, the ads and ad-driven game design ruined it for me.
This is a pretty fun game, except for the ads. You will need to watch an ad (or 2) to get an additional box, or restart the level in the hopes that the RNG gives you a break. There are ads between levels as well. some ads run 30 seconds, a couple have run 120 seconds, all of them 3 click to close ads. Increasingly, the banner ads at the bottom will launch chrome to a super scammy looking site. ETA: I don't want to play your stupid mine mini game, just let me play the game I downloaded.
#1, the art design is nothing like the ads. #2, this is designed to make you choose between spending your hard-earned money or wasting your precious time. There are constant ad banners. Ads pop up between stages and sometimes at random. Levels are needlessly long and often screw you (hardy har har) halfway through by giving you unusable pieces, forcing you to spend money/watch an ad to progress, or start from the beginning. It's fun at first, but it gets very old and annoying very fast.
