I've played this game off and on since 2017 and it's definitely play to play if you want to survive or you have to grind so much, which is kinda impossible from the people who have been on forever or are able to pay money for it. I do think the gameplay is great though. Update: my account was banned, likely from inactivity, which sucks because I was a very high level (like 14-16 for my soldiers).
so I played this when it was new and I was having fun gaining power and I put a few cents into the game but I took a break and my account got deleted and unblinded from my account, I don't really recommend it, it's mostly a waste of time and well the story was ok doesn't really go anywhere, I mostly like leveling up in games, gameplay is like other base builder games, but the leveling up can take days, which I did, and it's only really possible if you have a shield up, and support is not good.
I started like many of the former players of this game a bit addicted. And it was always a bit money grubby, but it wasn't too extreme, but now its ridiculous. Every event is kill players or pay to win. I've spent close to 300 dollars a couple bucks at a time in a year and a half and am nothing but fodder for the pay to wins. You can't protect yourself, it's even difficult to hide. New players can't really join without even worse harrassment. Can't change servers without starting over. Servers that once had hundreds of active players die to a few dozen and they just create a new server or gimmick to get you to spend more instead of fixing their game or proofreading their translations. No loyalty from developer, fun game turned into a cash grab.
I love this game so very much and i would love to give it 5 stars, but i do have complaints. The powerful schools keep picking on the newbies which makes it unable for them to progess, and they just teleport away and do the same thing! I understand its part of the game, but in no way that is needed to prove a point. And also can you stop adding supernatural enablers? I love all the girls, but the robotics girls seem a bit much. Other than that i think its a great game.
