I like this game but this is one of the most ad ridden games I've played in a while. You get ads when you want to play a song, to revive, and after every attempt at a song. Also, it's so incredibly annoying sometimes when I literally click a tile but it won't register that I did. Ex is SAD! by X. I'm on a new gen Samsung. It's sort of throws me off how some songs are normal voices & others are covers. The good sides are that the songs are appropriately rated and there's a lot to choose from.
There are a LOT of ads in this game. I paid $8 to get rid of what I thought would be at least half the ads, but it barely took away any of them. You used to watch one ad to unlock a level, and you would keep it permanently. Now you only unlock the level for a short period of time. And if you want to come back and play it again, you have to watch another ad. The gameplay is good, but honestly, the obscene amount of ads makes it not worth it. $50 a year for no ads on a mobile game is nutty.
app is a horrible blip in space compared to what it used to be. the song variety isn't the worst, but could be better and the keys aren't always on sync. often the extreme songs are easier to play than the easy ones due to accuracy. so many ai generated backrooms, one of which is an anime child who makes a lewd expression when the beat drops . yikes. not to mention ads everywhere. ad break before songs, after songs, in the middle of songs, for breaks, when you open app, etc. go offline to play
This game used to be fun as a kid with less ads and not much lag but now after you complete one speed of a song, it gives you a 30s ad everytime, you have to watch a one minute ad just to unlock a song and gives you 3 more in between mid playing, and everytime you get said ad, it lags and makes the notes completely skip down the line making you mess up and throwing another ad in your face. This game fell off.
