Cons: The game is nearly a complete copy of Kingdom Rush. Like it's so obvious that's it's cringe-worthy. Towers, levels, and even character designs are very, very similar to Kingdom Rush. Additionally, the grammar is poor and there are a few spelling errors here and there. Pros: You can earn all the heroes (except the most op one) for free :D ! You don't get that with the mobile versions of Kingdom Rush! The gameplay is smooth and enjoyable. The game is also pretty grindy, a great time-killer!
Let me put it this way, because the game was so good. I decided to make a purchase to support the developer. They also value your purchase by promoting you in a VIP status. Overall, you can actually progress in the game without making any purchase, you have to grind though. Also many have said this game is similar to kingdom rush. I'd say yes and no, the tower system is similar, but the development or leveling of heroes is different. It took me a while to understand the rune system. Thumbs up.
Really fun game! It has the vibe of the Kingdom Rush series, and the artstyle is really similar. I like the multiple hero system, what I don't like is the fact that a hero has to get close to their enemy in order to gain exp. It makes squishy ranged heroes really vulnerable. But overall great game! So far no bugs, and I hope it stays that way. 5/5 great game would recommend.
I had been avoiding this game for a while as I had just assumed it was another lazy knockoff of KR. How wrong I was. While some of the IAPs are rather pricey and there is some paywalled content, free play is still a fun and viable option without being too challenging. And there's a lot of available content. 40+ maps, upgrade skill trees for towers AND power-ups, customizable heroes. Try it out; you may be just as surprised as I was.
