The Galactic Council was formed to enforce precious peace, and it has taken many courageous efforts to prevent the escalation of malicious acts.
Nevertheless, tension and discord are growing among the seven major species and in the Council itself. Old alliances are shattering, and hasty diplomatic treaties are made in secrecy.
A confrontation of the superpowers seems inevitable—only the outcome of the galactic conflict remains to be seen. Which faction will emerge victorious and lead the galaxy under its rule?

A game of Eclipse Second Dawn places you in control of a vast interstellar civilization, competing for success with its rivals. Has so much potential. Love the og game, and there are slick animations and UX choices. But boy they fumbled simple things. 1 Text is tiny, zoom is pitiful, I've lost games to it (Is that sector worth 1 point or 4? Who knows.) Play on a tablet! 2 Iconography is bad. Orion is OP, their purple pieces blend into the black board. You can't see stuff! 3 No thought to the UI. If a ship sits next to a planet you can't check it, only the planet. Good luck knowing what's in the enemy fleet!
Fantastic! If you already know how to play. Needs private multi-player rooms. So I can play with just friends. The only part that I feel is missing is breaking down the cleanup just a bit. Right now it just does all the math for you for gaining money, spending money, and ganging resources. I would love to see an option where that slows down and actually goes through each step, especially for new players. And an expandable popup for more details on resources. Other than that, it's perfect!
Love this game, but there some solid issues with this app. The game occasionally freezes at random times during battles, and basically ends your game. Even if you back out and resume, it still crashes at the same point. Ancient Labs crashes the game. Anti Neutron bombs doesn't do anything, even having the research I still get bombed. Font is ridiculously small, can barely make out the VP points. Need a stronger zoom in function. That's just a few.
The board game is amazing but this app is Mid. The font is so incredibly tiny it is impossible to read on a phone. Also the battles are super confusing. It shoots and then does nothing and no matter what I try and click nothing happens. Is there a way to contact the developers? I think with a few minor tweaks this game app would be awesome.
