The MINI App is only supported by vehicles that were built after March 2018 and have the MINI Connected Services optional equipment in combination with a compatible smartphone. The Remote Services optional equipment is required for an optimum app experience. The availability of app functions may vary from country to country.

Due to the new update, when I send any map destination to my mini it says my destination is 0.01 miles away, and is always my home address. I use this feature regularly, please fix this issue. It was a brilliant feature and worked before this update.
The app has so much potential but it simply doesn't work consistently. Most of the issues are related to Mini OS9. After 2 years it is still buggy and have serious comm issues with my mobile and this app (I have a Samsung S25 which is a mainstream device so no excuses).
A useful app especially to check the charge on an electric car and how the driver is conserving charge. Sends useful and not so useful information via notifications on the phone or tablet screen. However, yesterday I left the tilt sunroof open by mistake and found out about it this morning when I checked the charge status on the app. I can't see any reason why this very important information couldn't be sent as a notification.
app is reliable and works well to control remote functions quickly. the efficiency monitoring for the EV models is great. latest update.. good- timer for pre conditioning. bad- unlock cable function is now buried in charging section instead of home screen (that was useful for putting away cable without needing to find the key first!) NB ... efficiency widgets seem to have stopped working although journey stats in app are up to date
