About this app
Sokoban Original brings the classic Japanese box-pushing puzzle to your Android device. Push the crates onto the marked spots, plan every move carefully, and discover why this game has been keeping minds busy since 1982.
The rules are simple. You play as a warehouse keeper trying to organize a storage room full of boxes. Walk around the grid and push the crates to their target positions. You can only push, never pull, and only one box at a time. That's it. The depth comes from the puzzles themselves: a single misplaced box and you'll have to undo your moves or restart the level.
Hundreds of handcrafted levels await, starting with gentle introductions and ramping up to puzzles that will make you stop and think for ten minutes before placing a single move. There is no timer pushing you and no lives system locking you out. You play at your own pace.
A few things we kept in mind while building this version:
- Clean controls that work well on small and large screens, with both swipe and tap movement.
- An undo button so you can rewind your last moves instead of restarting the whole level.
- A move counter for players who like to optimize their solutions.
- Offline play. The game works perfectly without an internet connection, on a plane, on the metro, anywhere.
- A lightweight install that runs smoothly even on older phones.
Sokoban is a different kind of puzzle game. There is no luck, no random drops, no power-ups to buy. Just you, the boxes, and the layout of the room. That is what has kept people coming back to it for over forty years. Every level has a solution, and finding it is the whole reward.
If you grew up playing the original Sokoban on a home computer in the 80s or 90s, you will find the same feeling here. If you have never tried it, expect a slow burn: the first levels feel easy, and then one of them takes you twenty minutes and you realize why this game became a classic.
Players who enjoy Unblock Me, Rush Hour, Klotski, Bloxorz, sliding block puzzles or any kind of logic and brain teaser game tend to enjoy Sokoban too. It is the ancestor of most of them.
Good for kids learning to plan ahead, for adults who want a quiet five minutes between meetings, and for anyone who likes thinking games over reflex games. Play one level a day or twenty in a row, both work.

Only 17 levels, and the last level is bugged. Most levels just copied from the original Sokoban.

Change the name of the game to Garbage Garbage, because its nothing else other than GARBAGE!
Why after the update I lost my levels I reached? I would have given it 5 but it just ruined my game by going to level 1. WHY? ????????????
