If you already have a decent player and just need a volume booster then I'd advise you to find the tiny buttons at the minimum point of bass boost and virtualizer and make sure they are off in equalizer app. Also turn off eq in equalizer app. If you don't it'll amplify everything. Otherwise does the volume boost very well. An update: I keep having to clear cache and data to get app to work. Tried reinstalling to no avail.
I like the way as music changes when I turn this app on. There will be highs amd basses like I would have changed my headset. However I hate to restart the app every 3rd time, cause sometimes it makes a glitch at the start with ridiculous underwater noices and stuff. but the restart helps always. (and the app doesn't like it when I switch from Spotify to Youtube for exam.)
The user interface seems a bit confusing to me. You have to click on the drop down menu every time you want to change an audio setting. Also, I noticed that the sound becomes distorted when the equalizer is turned on, and the volume decreases when the bass level is boosted.
Not only worthless, but does the compete opposite of what it says. 200% volume made my audio more quite. I immediately deleted the app after getting in my truck and couldn't even hear the music. Uninstalled mid song and the volume went back up to normal levels. I only purchased for the volume boost and it completely backfired
