Almost every time you exit the screen (go/weiqi/baduk) or minimize the app, you have to start over. I can't find a consistent reason or timing why it does that. I'm not as deep into it as other people, so I can't comment on the rest other than sometimes it'll randomly pass multiple times in a row at the beginning of a game as well as just not quitting when that's what would happen . you've conquered 80% of the board
Not a great option if you are a complete beginner - the lessons in the tutorial seem well designed, but the text is poorly translated, so the explanations are confusing. For the first very simple points, you can figure it out from what happens on the board, but as the lessons get more complicated, it's hard to understand the strategy.
Has a bug, when you press anywhere off the board (e.g: miss a button under the board) it will change your selected placement of a piece on the board. Very annoying! Also it doesn't describe anything or is clear about any mistakes or invalid moves.
I knew nothing about playing Go except from seeing it in Chinese movies, however, thanks to this app I have finally learned to play it
