WE LOVE FEEDBACK
I love coding and drawing, feel free to reach out, and tell me what feature you'd love to see in the app.
When you download the app you are presented with a planed face. Awesome, love it. With the free version you can click on the Loomis ball and have access to that. Also great. However once you click that Loomis ball you can't get the planed head back without deleting and reinstalling the app; At least in my case. I'd love to be able to feely switch between the 2 so that I know I'll get enough value from the app before paying for full access
I use the app through my tablet, I paid the $9 for the year and let me tell you it has to be the best investment I placed in. Especially when heads are one of my biggest struggles. The education section helped me learn the head and facial anatomy step by step. Because of this, I learned how to draw faces pretty well (as a beginner artist) within a month or less. In short, I think the app is pretty worth it and more worth it with the $9/ year access; a steal for something good as this.
Very interesting and I think perfect as a guide for lighting and shadows. Personally tho what I would love to see is some basic expressions on the step by step models, or the ability to move the mouth to open as well as maybe allowing the eyes to be moved in different directions. For what it is I love it but a little more customizability would be wonderful.
The app is really basic and everything (I mean EVERYTHING) is behind a really steep pay wall. More varied lighting or presets would be nice, as well as neutralized environmental lights (I can see the colored light being an issue for new artists who can't read value well yet). So I think it needs to include the basic head variations and drop the price by, like, 80% to make it of value. But it's a nice idea.
