very bad app . not user friendly. many glitches . not showing estimated arrival time. not able to detect that the car is driving for over 20 mins and keep showing is waiting. during the trip it would not let me goes back to main page for any assistance or to use other features. if it wasnt slightly cheaper than Uber i would not use the first time.
while I like the bookings, there are several key features either missing or not right with the app. as a result, I have made bookings to nearby incorrect places or set incorrect pick up points (not far but sometimes one street away) which can be frustrating. when in a rush, i will almost never use this app because just trying to get the correct "pin" location will almost certainly be wrong (need to double check or triple check), a problem i never face with Grab.
really lousy app and the worst customer service ever. App does not show vehicle is moving. need to kill the app multiple times to update. If I cancel the ride cos the car is not moving, get penalised for cancellations. reach out to cust service, they request screen shot of screen. Will cost me another cancellation n what's a screen shot gonna prove? Pls replace your cust svc manager n revamp your team. useless bunch.
I haven't even taken one yet. The Uber driver who a month ago told me it was coming told me fares would be lower. I have not yet seen a lower fare on throo compared to uber lyft. Its higher every single time. Not booking until the pricing gets changed/under control. 3 stars are all for the flat commission model which should put more money in the drivers pocket. But if nobody uses it because it's overpriced, drivers won't be doing any better
