If the UX of the dishwasher is bad, (buttons with no feedback if working, confusing number system (p5 hard to find), then the app is absolute hell for adding a device. Doesn't work, makes you re enter the serial number every time, can only work with wifi that has 5ghz disabled. How does something like this even get to market? I only downloaded the app hoping it would be easier to run a normal dishwasher cycle. Huge disappointment!
terrible experience, the app constantly doesn't want to connect to the appliance, even though they are both connected to the same wifi. constantly asks for my location. i am for no reason signed out and have to sign in, there's no way to find out the user name, but they will want all of your info and data.
It allowed me to find the dishwasher easily, but not a single setting works... it tells me to use nfc to activate, i press my phone and get an infinitely loading spinner that never activates anything. Not even diagnostics work, literally the only thing that works is finding your machine and nothing else... i tried yhe self clean, all existing cycles and more, nothing works. Edit: buttons on machine activate cycles, but then you get a beep after 5 min for every cycle and it simply doesnt wash
This app is awful, as is the washing machine interface. Those touch buttons are terrible and the start button stopped working, so my only option to start a washing cycle was thru the Simpli-Fi app. But this stopped working as well after changing my network provider. Now I cannot connect to the dishwasher because it gives me an error saying that I must be connected to a 2.4Ghz network - which I am! No matter what wi-fi I use, it always gives the same error and aborts the connection.
