Such a pretty and interesting game. I love so many of the guys and the ones I don't, I play for LORE. Idk what the marketing strategy is with the ads but the actual game play choices just determine if you get a bonus story at the end of your route (which if you Google the right answers, you'll always get). Obviously, since the game is free there are tons of spots where spending money makes it easier--but you can get by if you grind for the main routes. Events as well!
It has nice art. The premium currency is a pain to collect. I'm concerned they are going to start adding new characters before they finish the routes of the characters from when the game launched. That seems pretty common, or just never actually giving all the characters routes and leaving them as "coming soon". It's sad for me, as someone prefers the characters this tend to happen to.
This is the best otome game I have the pleasure of playing. Sure, there are in-app purchases but the storyline is so damn good! You get attached to everyone and there's plenty of princes to choose from. There are times you may not be able to progress unless you pay, but considering the work and love that's put into the artwork, voice acting, and story, spending $2-$3 here and there isn't a big deal. If anything it's a humble asking price of "did we do good? can we have a tip?"
The game is alright, but I have a few criticisms. 1. You can't customize your MC. I feel like, if you're making an otome game, it wouldn't hurt to have a variety of skin tones available. Isn't the point of an otome to self-insert? 2. The chapters feel too short. If you're only going to give five chapters per day, then the least you could do is give replayability. 3. It's hard to make money in this game. Either you need to buy an expensive dress to continue or build intimacy points.
