I love sumikko gurashi characters and the aesthetic so this is a calming cute little game to wind down with, without being too easy either. It doesn't push you to buy things, though that's an option, and you only watch ads if you want. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the slow loading times when starting it up. Leaving it open in the background doesn't help, as it loads again when you reopen it. Requires a network connection to play, too.
The game is fine (like most Japanese games, the operative word is grind), but do not bother with the free diamond offers that ask you to dl some other game and meet some goal. I have tried to do this twice. The first time I was told after I was done that the offer was no longer available. The second time the offer straight disappeared from the list after I completed the task.
Cute, fun little puzzle game. Lost 1 star because the "tutorial" was painful to sit through. I appreciate the cute dialogue, but there's way too much of it. Lost another star because of poor level design. It's not that the levels are difficult, but some are downright impossible unless you just happen to get useful Sumi. The game loves to throw random ones into the mix that don't match with anything. Lost a third star for ads that freeze the game and don't give me my reward after watching.
I'm obsessed! I downloaded it because I discovered sumikko Gurashi recently and wanted to explore more of their content. (I love Tokage 🥰.) In doing so I got myself addicted to this game xD. I've never been one to involve myself in puzzle games but I like the spin this puts on more basic puzzle games! It spices it up just enough to be interesting and engaging, while still being a manageable difficulty. The only issue I have had with it is that when you watch an add the game mutes. 🤷🏻
