There are 17 levels of play (15k-2d) for all the board sizes. Crazy Stone has improved not only in strength, but also in his style of play and the lower levels are perfect for players who want to learn the game of Go.
Now, the strongest level for Premium Members is 5d.
* IAGA Rating Certification Test
Challenge the Dan/Kyu tests provided by the International AI Go Association. You will be awarded certificate images if you pass the tests.
(You will need to register an AI Game Account to challenge the tests. Registration is free)
* Export and import sgf game files
You will be able to import and export game records in sgf format from other apps. Also you can copy game record data to the clipboard.
* Rating Mode
Test your skills with serious games against the AI, keeps track of the results of your games and the history of your rating!
The Rating Mode will be partly unlocked if you reach 7k IAGA Rating. If you become a premium member, all of the Rating Mode features will be unlocked immediately.

It's an absolute garbage game. The game itself is fine. But the heavy load of ineascapable advertisements after every single game make it very hard to play. Even if you exit the app and come back, there is still 1-2 ads to watch before you can resume gameplay. If it were $2.50 to simply buy the game and skip the ads, id do it in a heartbeat. But $2.50/ month is an absolute rip off. The AI is not the best for a GO sim, but for a phone app it's pretty fun. Wish they could solve the ad problem.
fantastic little go app for casual players like me. true beginners will need tutorials to learn the game elsewhere or theyll get beat by the easiest AI, while serious players will not be challenged by the strongest AI, but perfect for training on my skill level(13k or 12k somewhere). best part is it works perfectly offline unlike any other apps i found, so i can go on the go :)
This is an excellent learning tool and a fun pass time; would give it a 5 🌟 rating if I didn't watch my tracking blocker app register approximately one tracking attempt per SECOND from this game. Fun fact, paying for the premium option doesn't stop the trackers according to their terms of service. paying to be spied on and profited from by violating our privacy...what a deal! thx guys 🥰
Playing 9x9 the AI is more like a puzzle. Once I figure out the right moves I can play the same moves and the AI will respond in the same way. However, the harder the AI the more variations, but still possible to predict its moves. The paid for version fixes this. I would like to see when editing the game for it to just add a variation to the board or at least rewrite the sgf. Right now if I edit the board, when replaying the game it only goes back to place I started editing. Thanks.
