Prompting me to review before im allowed to play anything but preschool levels is a bad idea, and when I didn't want to judge the game yet it seemed like I was penalized by ads immediately. Game is cute and topical, but lacks in simple play functions, im not so hot on changing from yes to x that often. You could've just used double tap or something like that. plus in a pixel game making me go backwards from 10x10 to 5x5 feels annoying. No animations? --- Lots of theme fun but not at all great.
This is an enjoyable puzzle game for Konami fans of the classic era. the only downside I have to mention is I wish that once you've completed all the possible non-boss puzzles, it would let you do the boss puzzles freely to complete the game; I'm currently waiting every 3 hours to make progress towards the end and burned through the other puzzles and have no puzzles while waiting now.
Nostalgia trip for Picross fans! Positively inhales battery, though (~20% in a half hour on my Pixel). Also, there's no setting to make the game respect 'X' marks you've placed and then draw a line "over" them - it will simply blow out the 'X' marks and give you a solid line of marks and vice versa. If the battery impact was minimized and the controls were improved (see Nemo Picross for a good example), this would be an easy 5 stars. One final complaint - over a quarter of the puzzles are "Boss puzzles" that have a three-hour cooldown. If you finish the rest of the puzzles, you're stuck waiting those three hours between every puzzle for the remainder.
Free to play and challenging, so I recommend it if you like nonograms. There is slight instance imbalance in waiting for "boss" levels after completing the regular levels. I'm down to boss levels (≈125 to go). However, it's a three hour wait between these boss levels and at about 10 minutes each, that's ≈400 hours game time continually to finish. As best I can tell there's no means to purchase or otherwise accelerate this process. But still fun! Just set a reminder so you don't miss out.
