I love the game! I just find two things I think need fixing or readjusting. One is, how fast the training points run out, maybe 5 would be better than three. The second reason I believe it needs some readjustments, is because we cant customize our character, I feel like it would be more fun if we could unlock oufits and hats, and all sorts of stuff for our character. Besides those two things, the game is really fun!
Longest lived mobile game I've ever played. Let me give you a critical explanation of this game. The beginning is terribly slow due to it having an in-depth tutorial, you'll get through it quick enough though. The gameplay is straight forward, maybe even boring if you're not into an "eat, train, battle" style gameplay, but, it's terribly fun. You even get to fish up all different color combos, even the standard magikarp has different colors to document! The graphics are lovely and make me feel like I'm playing a mini-game in a pokemon hand-held. Seriously, download it, play it for 20 minutes, see if you get -hooked- like I did!
It's simple, but I honestly wouldn't want it to be anything else. If this game ever got continued support or updates, I'd want a LOT more patterns and some sort of breeding mechanic, but other than that, what can I really say? It's a pokemon virtual pet simulator, that's also kinda a roguelike. It's basic, it's funny, and it's completely fine. I mean c'mon, it's a game about Magikarp; the bar was on the floor, but they took a running leap anyway. It's just alright, and that's okay. 🤷
Fun game to open up every once in a while for the cute visuals. The pokemon franchise could certainly use more fun side games like these. It's not really much of a game though. It's as much a game as is the daily task of feeding your pet goldfish is. Not that there's no value in this game as a game, but it (thankfully) doesn't require a huge time investment nor pushed you towards microtransactions.
